Have a child five or under?

We offer SafeCare® Colorado, a free, voluntary parent support program for parents and caregivers with children ages five and under who need extra support to keep their families safe and healthy.

Staff meet one-on-one with parents and caregivers for information sessions to:

• Identify and remove common safety hazards

• Increase positive behaviors and prevent difficult ones

• Identify and respond to common childhood illnesses and injuries

SafeCare is offered in English and Spanish in Arapahoe County and interested caregivers can join anytime throughout the year, usually starting the program within 2 weeks of a referral. Completing all 3 modules will take a few months based on how consistent the home visits are.
