ACECC supports future family child care homes through the process of obtaining a CDEC Child Care License including creating a handbook, preparing the space for the initial licensing visit, and guiding providers through the next phase of quality once they receive their license. 

Providers should allow three to six months for this process, and typically receive their license 60-90 days after the original CDEC licensing inspection.

Staff is certified in Business Administration Scale (BAS) and Program Administration Scale (PAS) to support programs in identifying areas in business that could be improved. This includes options like creating or modifying a salary scale, what benefits are offered, and fiscal management.
