Meeting Kids
and Families
Where They Are
We work to ensure the well-being, health, and development of kids and families in Arapahoe County.
We offer a variety of family support programs to connect families with the knowledge and strategies they need to thrive while their kids are young. When we support kids and families early on, it puts kids on the path to success and benefits the entire community.
Are you interested in more information related to your child's development? Have you wondered how to support your child as they grow? Parents as Teachers is a home visitation program designed to enhance child development and school readiness offered by Arapahoe County Early Childhood Council.
Parents as Teachers
Our SafeCare home visitation program gives parents the skills and tools they need to make their home safer, understand the needs of very young children, and learn how to have more positive, fulfilling interactions.
SafeCare
Family Bridges provides advocacy, resources, and education for families with children birth to age 8. Our staff connects families to community resources. This is not a one-size-fits-all program. It is designed to support each family in their unique situation and provide holistic support.
Family Bridges
Our home visitation program gives providers tools to increase parent knowledge of early childhood development and improve parent practices, provide early detection of developmental delays and health issues, prevent child abuse and neglect, and increase children’s school readiness and success.
