We can help. Our child care navigator matches families with a local child care program or center. As a local nonprofit, we’re able to offer this service for free to all families living in Arapahoe County.

Our child care navigator helps families find a program that fits their needs. Whether you’re looking for a program close to work, one that accepts families with the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP), or a special curriculum, we can help match you with an Arapahoe County program.

When looking at child care programs, ask yourself:

Are they quality rated with Colorado Shines?
Do they offer before- or after-school care?
How far is the program from your home or work?
Do the staff create a safe & nurturing environment for kids?
Do they accept families with the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP)?

Parents as Teachers

Parents as Teachers is a home visitation program designed to enhance child development and kindergarten readiness through parent education.

SafeCare

Our SafeCare home visitation program gives parents the skills and tools they need to make their home safer, understand the needs of very young children, and learn how to have more positive, fulfilling interactions.

Promoting Safe & Stable Families

Funded by Arapahoe County Department of Human Resources, our Promoting Safe & Stable Families (PSSF) program provides advocacy, resources, and education for families.

Giggle and Grow

Giggle and Grow is an at-home program for people that are caring for someone else’s kids in their home - this includes everyone from licensed family child care businesses, to the next-door neighbor, nanny, grandparents, or family friends. Get customized activities and hands-on support at no cost.
