What Works Training Series


The “What Works” Training Series covers several different topics designed to promote practices that support young children’s social and emotional development and prevent challenging behaviors. Each Training will highlight practices and strategies that have been found to effectively prevent and address children’s challenging behaviors. This series is designed to help early childhood professionals select practices and strategies that promote positive outcomes for all children.

There are six classes in this series. Classes are held the 3rd Monday of the month from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Monday, September 17, 2018 -Helping Children Understand Routines and Classroom Schedules

Monday, October 15, 2018 - Helping Children Make Transitions Between Activities

Monday, November 19, 2018 - Using Classroom Activities and Routines as Opportunities to Support Peer interaction
