Directors' Roundtable: Reflective Leadership

The ACECC Directors' Roundtable is an opportunity for early childhood education program directors, assistant directors and other ECE leaders to connect with their peers, network with other programs, and develop leadership skills that will enhance their own programs.

Ten-month Program Covers Variety of Topics
The Director's Roundtable allows providers to take a break from daily challenges one day a month for ten months. Each month the Roundtable addresses a different topic, including:

  • Personal and program visions, hopes and expectations
  • Understanding personality types and building on your own personality strengths
  • Developing effective communication skills & professional relationships
  • Navigating team effectiveness
  • Creating vision and mission statements
  • Linking behavior with values
  • Managing meetings & decision making
  • Managing change & conflict
  • Promoting positive differences
  • Continuous quality improvement

College credit may be available.
