Touchpoints

The Touchpoints™ Training is based on Dr. T. Berry Brazelton's work at the Children's Hospital in Boston. The approach looks at how case workers, early childhood educators, pediatricians and other service providers interact with families based on the behavior of their child. The Touchpoints approach understands that a typical child's development goes through growth spurts and regressions.

The training also looks closely at parent and provider assumptions of one another and the Touchpoints Guiding Principles that service providers should utilize when working with families.

The Touchpoints Training is an intensive, two-day training in the areas of family partnerships, child development and cultural diversity.
