Nurturing Parenting Program (NPP)

Want to be a More Successful Parent?
No one is born a parent. It's something we learn growing up, and sometimes we need extra help learning how to be successful parents. In the Nurturing Parenting Program (NPP), you will learn new skills and attitudes important in caring for yourself, your children and the world around you.
16-Session Program
The Nurturing Parent Program meets for a three-hour class every week for 16 weeks on Tuesdays. Classes begin with a light dinner at 4:45 - 5:15pm. From 5:15 to 5:30pm there is parent/child interaction. From 5:30 - 7:45 pm is the parent class and free childcare is provided.
Learn and Grow with Your Child
Each week, you'll explore a different topic, including responsibility, discipline, self-care, empathy and child development. You'll have a chance to share experiences with other parents and gain an awareness of how past experience has formed your attitudes about parenting. Building relationships with other parents can be supportive and fun and it helps to you know you are not alone! Learning to nurture yourself can help you provide even better care to your child.
